By The latest trailer for Damien Chazelle’s La La Land has been out for a few weeks, but since we haven’t showcased it on the site, I figure now’s as good a time as any. A movie musical made in an age where they don’t really do big screen musicals anymore, the film stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone and has been getting plenty of rave reviews. This is Chazelle’s follow-up to Whiplash.
Also, I’m kind of a sucker for movie musicals.

La La Land hits theaters in select cities on December 9th, with a wider release planned for December 16th.
