By Calling all Chicago-based film fanatics and film festival professionals: The full list of films and schedule for the 47th Chicago International Film Festival has been released. Taking place October 6th – October 20th, this year’s CIFF will screen more than 150 films from 50 countries around the world. Of these films, 53 directors will be making their debuts.
If you live in Chicago or are planning on visiting during the festival, I highly recommend catching a few films. I’ve been interning for Cinema/Chicago, the organization responsible for the CIFF, since early August, and I can wholeheartedly say that there are a ton of fantastic films showing. Begin making a list, plot out your schedules, and let us know if you plan on attending.
