The Kung Fu Panda series is getting some more voices to join their cast of martial arts animals. THR reports that Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal), and Rebel Wilson (Bridesmaids) have been added to the voice cast for DreamWorks Animation’s newest project, Kung Fu Panda 3. The three new actors will be joining Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, and Seth Rogen from the other films along with other unspecified actors.
So far the details regarding the characters and the plot for Kung Fu Panda 3 have not been disclosed by DreamWorks, but they did say that it “follows Po, the chosen one, as he continues on his journey mastering the art of Kung Fu … and noodle slurping.”
Mikkelsen will be voice acting for the first time in a major animated film. Cranston has done some voice acting before with DreamWorks by being in Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted and Wilson has voice acted for Ice Age: Continental Drift.
Kung Fu Panda 3 is set for a release on December 23, 2015.
