The Criterion Collection is teasing some of its 2013 releases with a “name that movie” image. And… well there’s… Wow, I’m really, really bad at this one. Adam Chitwood of Collider says the image contains the following:
- David Lynch’s Eraserhead
- Guillermo del Toro’s The Devil’s Backbone
- Peter Brook’s Lord of the Flies
- Harold Lloyd’s Safety Last!
- Delmer Daves’s 3:10 to Yuma
Commenters at Collider are also guessing a reissues or Blu-rays of Ingmar Bergman’s Autumn Sonata and Jean-Pierre Melville’s badass Le Samourai, as well as releases for Peter Bogdanovich’s underrated Paper Moon, James Marsh’s ecstatic Man on Wire, and either David Cronenberg’s Scanners or Sidney Lumet’s Network. (I’m assuming this guess is based on the dude in the window. I’m more inclined to guess Network. I like Scanners, but it’s not as Criterion-worthy as some of Cronenberg’s other films.)
Give the image a look in the gallery and guess away in the comments.
