By The still without an official title (that we’ve been dubbing Batman vs. Superman for simplicity’s sake) sequel to Man of Steel adds yet another character. Joining Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, some guy as Nightwing, and Hans Zimmer is broadway actor Ray Fisher as Vic Stone or “Cyborg.”
Regardless of how large or small of a role the character will play, this cast is already huge. Let’s hope there’s a nice balance between all of them. Since this seems like a Justice League movie already (which would explain the delay to 2016), we’re probably going to find out more and more DC heroes were added as the months roll on. As for the character, Cyborg’s played a bigger role in the DC Comics since the New 52 relauch, and I’ve been a fan since the Teen Titans cartoon, so I’m game. Plus, he’ll add some much needed diversity to the crew.
