Even with Wolverine 2 two years away, Darren Aronofsky’s already got his next project in mind. This one is based off a partial manuscript by Max Barry called Machine Man, and it sounds like a doozy. In it, an engineer decides to replace his body parts with high-tech mechanical upgrades, while outside sources want his technological marvel of a body for themselves. The author is currently publishing it on his website, one page a day, with the full novel to be released next spring.
Aside from my disappointment that this isn’t an adaptation of the beer-swilling robot from Marvel Comics, this sounds very, very cool.
