Today has been a pretty tough day for Hollywood. Not only were two major films delayed at seemingly the last minute (A Quiet Place 2 and Fast & Furious 9), but Disney has just announced a slew of movies will be delayed amid growing concerns over the coronavirus pandemic. The highest profile of these happens to be Mulan, which was originally slated for released in just two weeks time.
Joining the live-action remake in postponed releases will be The New Mutants -now the fifth time the film has been delayed in two years- and Antlers. According to a report from Variety, all three have been indefinitely delayed as Disney figures out the situation around this virus. This follows news of Disneyland California closing for the remainder of the month, which is an unprecedented move for the company.
As for the summer season, Disney is still pretty confident that Black Widow will be releasing on May 1. We’ll just have to wait and see, but at least Hollywood is taking precautions to prevent the spread of this disease.
