By As per contractual obligation to report on all things Django Unchained (same goes for The Dark Knight Rises), we’re here to report that Quentin Tarantino’s latest now has a release date. According to Box Office Mojo, Django Unchained is set to wreak havoc in theaters on December 25th, 2012. Yes, you heard right, we’re getting a Tarantino movie for Christmas! That’s way better than the ugly sweater and loads of socks you were bound to get for Christmas!
I don’t even know why they set a release date for this, considering Tarantino is notorious for taking his sweet time with his films. Now that I think of it, I can’t recall of one good movie that opened on Christmas Day. My paranoia/superstition/OCD tells me that because there’s never been a good Christmas Day movie, that it is likely that this film might blow. Holy crap, what if the Mayans were right and the world really does end in 2012?! What if I never get to find out whether or not Django Unchained is the only good Christmas Day movie?! WHO REALLY SHOT JFK?!
