Wally Pfister is best known for two things: being a fantastic cinematographer (see every Christopher Nolan movie since Memento) and having the best last name. Pfister (hee hee) is an old hand behind the camera of a lot of awesome movies, and now he’s stepping…further behind the camera? I guess? He’s directing a movie now, is what I’m saying. The untitled film, written by first time writer Jack Paglen, will begin shooting sometime this fall, though no details are available on the film’s plot or possible casting.
I’m anxious to see what kind of talent Pfister (HEE HEE HEE) has as a director. Certainly, he’s got enough experience working with Nolan to know what makes a good director.
