With the next Man of Steel film confirmed to be featuring Batman (and potentially being called Batman vs. Superman), it seemed only appropriate to ask whether or not that makes any sense. The world that Zack Snyder and his team have created in Man of Steel is vastly different from any Superman universe that has come before (and in many ways the character is as well). The rivalry between the characters, brilliantly depicted in Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns, is one for the ages… but this is a whole different beast.
Especially if, as the name implies, they’re going to be fighting. Seriously, how is that going to work?
