ABC has shared a new trailer for the upcoming sixth season of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD and fans are in a frenzy. Clark Gregg, famous for his role as Agent Coulson, is now playing some evil dude named Sarge that is practically a match for the former agent. Likely something to do with the Kree, it seems a bunch of doppelgangers are running amok and causing chaos for the team.
I suppose this was Marvel’s way of keeping Gregg on the show without going through yet another resurrection for Coulson. At the very least, it should make for some heavy drama when the agents do encounter the creature. I know I’d flip out if I saw my former mentor back from the dead and evil in front of me.
The sixth season of Agents of SHIELD will begin airing on May 10, 2019, in the US.
