Drive angrily away from work to watch a Drive Angry clip

Despite our odd fetish here at Flixist with the man named Nic Cage, it’s hard to find him in a good movie these days. Lord knows his last on screen outing wasn’t exactly enticing. However, he keeps making em’ and we keep getting intrigued. For instance, his next film is Drive Angry and despite it looking insanely stupid I find myself pulled in.

Collider has a new and decidedly NSFW clip from the movie. However, despite it being dumb, violent and full of breasts, I’m actually less intrigued by the film now. I know it’s supposed to be dumb and cheesy, but this action sequence, in which cage kills some guys while having sex with a woman, is just horrible. The special effects look like vomit, the action looks pathetic and the woman… bleh. On top of all that it’s practically directly stolen from the insanely underrated and un-viewed Shoot Em Up.

If you want to see this scene done right and with a much more attractive woman (Monica Belucci) then head in that direction and skip a clip that’s only going to disappoint. Hopefully the rest of Drive Angry is actually “so bad it’s good.”
