Get ready for some great news. Edgar Wright and J.J. Abrams are teaming up to bring us a new movie called Collider!
You’re not jumping up and down with joy yet, huh? All right, so like any big Abrams project the thing will be shrouded in mystery and intrigue until some weird viral stuff starts up. The exciting news is that Wright and Mark Protosevich (I Am Legend) are writing the screenplay for the reportedly sci-fi film based off an idea of Wright’s. Wright will be directing the film as well, which he will produce along with Abrams and his Bad Robot production company.
That’s pretty much all we got for now unless we turn to speculation, which is totally something we do. With Wright most likely finishing The World’s End and then jumping on Ant-Man we probably won’t be seeing this sucker any time soon. That doesn’t mean, however, that we won’t be seeing whatever awesome marketing campaign the movie will have cropping up long before the film is set to go. With the names behind this it’s easy to surmise we’ll be getting something awesomely nerdy to help build hype.
