I think one thing on which we can all agree is that once a teenage boy starts doing his face like The Crow it’s time to give him a wide berth. In the case of the young man leading Killer Therapy, that distance might just save your life.
In Killer Therapy, Brian is a troubled young man, violent and aggressive who feels replaced by his adopted sister and abandoned by his parents. Therapists fail him, and as his life falls apart he decides to exact revenge from those who have wronged him. As it turns out, he starts to feel a lot better when he just embraces the murderous psycho that he is. I’m sure it’s an affirming film about accepting who you are at it’s heart. Maybe The Dove Foundation should give it a look.
Cheesy title aside, the trailer gives off a fractured vibe, and the shots and lighting evoke a more classic horror feel with its use of darkness over that over-exposed look of most low budget horror.
Killer Therapy will release sometime soon.
