WOOOOO!

According to The Washington Post, ESPN is doing a 30 for 30 documentary on pro-wrestling legend "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair.

WOOOOO!

The word came down a few days ago when Ric Flair and Legacy Talent and Entertainment LLC (Flair's talent agency) took to their respective Facebook pages to mention the documentary-in-progress.

WOOOOO!

Now 66 years old, Flair is a 16-time world champion across three different wrestling promotions (NWA, WCW, and WWF/WWE). A founding member of the wrestling stable known as The Four Horsemen, Flair's career included seminal in-ring rivalries with Dusty Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, and Sting.

WOOOOO!

A documentary on the stylin', profilin', limousine-riding, jet-flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun (WOOOOO!) seems to be the next step forward in the newly forged relationship between ESPN and the WWE. The cable sports network has been covering WWE events and talent since mid-to-late October.

On the note of ESPN, though, RIP to Grantland--long live Grantland.

WOOOOO!

No word on the eventual release date of the documentary as of this writing. Ric Flair is probably one of the best pro-wrestling personalities in the history of the business, so it makes sense that he'd be the first wrestler to get a 30 for 30 doc. (Hulk Hogan is a bit of a persona non grata these days, and with good reason.)

I'm looking forward to this.

WOOOOOO!
