By The Raid: Redemption is one of the best things to happen to action cinema in a long time. The fact that we’re getting more of it makes me excited, and it’s now bigger than ever? That’s even better! Taking place just two hours after the events of the first film, it looks like Iko Uwais is setting up to fight all sorts of quirky folks by the looks of this first teaser poster for the film.
The poster features a line up of interesting people with interesting weapons that I can’t wait to see in action. And according to director Gareth Evans, the film features 17 actions and I’ll assume each is better than the last. Evans hopes the film will be ready for a 2014 release and we all have to hope for the same! Maybe we’ll get footage soon!
