EW has shown off the first images of Insterstellar in their latest issue and with it comes some actual plot points aside from it’s going to be about space and the tagline from the poster. Being a Nolan film things are of course going to complicated as production designer Nathan Crowley says it involves “black holes, relativity, gravity, and their effect on time.” Of course not to be too scary with its Inception-like ideas he also adds it’s a “very human story about a father and a daughter.”
It seems the basic plot will revolve around the new discovery of a wormhole and the attempts to use it for interstellar travel in order to save the earth from horrible climate change by saving corn, which is earth’s only crop left. That latter part sounds kind of goofy, but knowing Nolan it’s going to get way deeper than we think. With trailers arriving attached to Godzilla we should all have a better idea of what’s going on in the film soon… or not since Nolan loves him some mystery.
