By I’ve been a little hesitant toward the next film in the Hunger Games series ever since it was announced Mockingjay would be split into two parts. Mockingjay is my favorite in the trilogy (the first half anyway, go figure), and the more I think about it, the more it might work. It’s essentially two stories anyway. First we have a PTSD Katniss, thanks to the events of Catching Fire (who’s introduced to District 13, which seems to be the setting of the new film if these images are anything to go by), and the second half is mushy and spoilery action. I’m hoping they find a better balance with more time to work on it.
