By Ever since it was announced that Jamie Foxx was cast as Maxwell Dillion, aka Electro, in Mark Webb’s Amazing Spider-Man sequel, I know I wasn’t alone in wondering what Foxx was going to bring to the character. Now we know, at the very least, he’ll be bringing a lot of blue.
These first shots of Foxx on set and in make-up have revealed for the first time exactly what Webb’s Electro is going to look like, and I gotta say, he looks kind of creepy. But in a good way! It certainly beats the garish yellow and green they’ve could have gone with, so I’m definitely digging the new look. Now let’s just hope there’s more to him than just being a menacing bad guy.
