By How to Train Your Dragon is easily one of the closest contender in years to actually have a chance at toppling Pixar from the animated movie throne. It was breathtakingly stunning and one of the few early 3D movies that actually looked better in 3D. The sequel will hopefully be just as awesome.
The new poster shows Hiccup and Toothless five years since the original looking much more mature and far more action oriented. I’m hoping when the full trailer lands will see a bit darker story as it focuses on Hiccup and Toothless discovering new wild dragons and a mysterious Dragon Rider. It would be amazing if the films grew up with the characters like the Harry Potter movies did.
