It may seem weird after I just tore Melissa McCarthy apart in Tammy, but I’m actually excited to see her in St. Vincent. This is the kind of stuff that can show off her chops as an actress, and going up along Bill Murray is perfect.
Judging from the trailer this is your classic feel good movie of people opening up thanks to new friendships, and that’s always a good thing even if it’s a little old. We’re basically doing About a Boy her, but with Bill Murray. That sounds pretty awesome to me.
