First trailer for found footage horror film, As Above, So Below

I’m not usually one for found footage horror, or even found footage (or horror) films in general, but As Above, So Below definitely caught my eye. Just look at this teaser poster! Holy maloney is that menacing! Taking place in the completely real location of the Catacombes de Paris (the mass grave which holds about six million skeletons under Paris, France), a group of explorers unexpectedly find the gates of hell and *ahem* all hell breaks loose. 

While this trailer is troubling because the non-White individual dies first, and it feels a bit generic, the location and production of As Above, So Below might be enough to put this over the top. It hits theaters August 15th, so I’ll keep an eye out for it.
