First trailer for Hitman: Agent 47

For one of the more successful series in gaming it’s really odd that Hitman failed in its first iteration as a film. While the movie didn’t all out suck, they sure squandered the totally awesome idea of a genetically engineered super assassin. If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. And so we shall with Hitman: Agent 47.

The film relaunches the franchise for what looks like a bit more style, budget and new actors. I’m happy to see here they’re basically going all out ridiculous instead of somber action hero. It does seem to be setting 47 up as a bit of a heel, however. It’ll be interesting to see where they take… who am I kidding. Do any of us care about the plot?
