If you were paying attention to Sundance you probably heard about Locke, which stars Tom Hardy as a man driving around in a car making phone calls. Riveting, right? Well, according to everyone and their mother, yes, yes it is. The film got rave reviews and judging from this trailer features a stellar performance from Hardy.
Probably most interesting is that the movie takes a kind of My Dinner With Andre approach to the whole thriller thing, keeping you locked in what appears to be one location as everything unravels. I’d be worried about it, but Tom Hardy is such an amazing actor that he could pull off the one guy thing fantastically. Plus, he has another fun accent!
