First trailer for Paper Towns

Late last week, we could share with you the incredibly dull first poster for Paper Towns, the upcoming movie based on a novel by the same name, from The Fault in Our Stars-author, John Green. This week, we’ve got a trailer. 

Immediately at home as a John Green adaptation, the trailer certainly doesn’t try to be more than it is, and in my mind, it works in its favor. It’s a typical, teen-age drama, with cute and adorable scenes between the main actors – Cara Delevingne and Nat Wolff – but with the team behind it, I can’t help but to be excited. Jake Schreier is in the director’s chair, with Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber penning the screenplay. Oh, I also love Nat Wolff, and I will fight anyone who dislikes Cara Delevingne. 

Paper Towns is set to premiere July 24. 2015.
