First trailer for The Fault in Our Stars

The guys behind The Spectacular Now, screenwriters Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, did something awesome when they took that YA novel and turned it into an amazing movie. Now they’re pretty much trying to do it again, and they’re bringing Shailene Woodley along once again. The Fault in Our Stars lands its first trailer above and it looks pretty sappy, but since they nailed sappy last time around we’re thinking it’ll be good sappy again. 

Ansel Elgort co-stars in the film about a two teens who fall in love after meeting at a support group for cancer patients. Considering the trailer is ten seconds away from pulling tears out of my soulless eyes, I can’t imagine what the film will do. Word out of Sundance, where the film debuted, is pretty solid as well.

Everyone else will get a chance to see the film when it releases on June 6.
