Olivia Wilde is just the perfect combination of hot and interesting to pull of incredibly scary if she needs to. It appears she needs to as she joins Mark Duplass (also that perfect combination) in The Lazarus Effect, which is a horror film starring a bunch of people who are usually funny.
While the premise might not be that interesting and the PG-13 rating is always sad to see on a film that looks like an R would help, it does look kind of interesting. Even odder than the funny folks doing horror is that the director is David Gelb, who directed Jiro Drams of Sushi, which might actually be the exact opposite of a horror film. He did such an amazing job with that that one can’t help but get a bit more excited than usual for The Lazarus Effect.
