“Short” isn’t exactly the word I’d use here, but this is a damn fine little history lesson. Decades of film history, this twenty-minute film tracks the course of computer-animated characters in film, from Young Sherlock Holmes all the way to Avatar. It’s definitely an interesting, reasonably in-depth look at CGI characters and how they were utilized as computer graphics got more and more sophisticated.
