By When Hubert reminded me of terrifying things in my childhood yesterday with his insistence on posting Night on Bald Mountain, I had no idea how I was going to top that for today. I mean, cause it’s like Halloween. In honor of that, Flixist is about to get a little more…short film-y (other than a few very notable exceptions). So sit back, relax, and get terrified.
First up is Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared, by Becky Sloan and Joseph Pelling. Working with “This Is It” a creative production company, the two have fabricated something out of my nightmares with a mix of puppetry, human actors, and gruesome visuals. Talking more about this would spoil it, so just take note that getting creative is a very, very bad idea.
