Katy & I is a mini-documentary about a teenage boy who’s obsessed with Katy Perry. The interesting part of it is, he seems pretty self-aware of how weird and creepy his actions are. It’s also one of those things that makes me wonder if the kid will be embarrassed by this video later in life . . . Regardless, Katy and I made me feel uncomfortable, and that’s always a good thing, right?
What’s also impressive is that the filmmaker, Olly Newport, is only sixteen himself! He doesn’t have much information about himself online, but geez, kid’s got a decent Vimeo portfolio.
