By I don’t know what the weather is like where you live today, but here in Chicago it’s been raining all day. For some reason, the diffused light and desaturated colors outside reminded me of this video, Kite Hill by Paul Octavious.
Octavious has been going back to this same hill and photographing or filming the people there on different days throughout the year, and the feeling of space he creates through his compositions is quite beautiful. I just love the kite that appears by the horizon as the music swells towards the end of the video. Octavious’ photographs of the hill are also stunning. I just adore how much attention he gives the sky and the colors of the sky in his depictions of the hill. Simply breathtaking.
