Lisa, directed by Drew Mylrea, was made for The Continuum, a series of short films on YouTube. Lisa is about a struggling scientist’s strive for perfection in the machines he creates. This makes for an interesting look into his relationship with his own helper android robot girl thing, Lisa. Then his repairs and experiments with Lisa become more about patching up his own problems.
Lisa is certainly an interesting take on machines in a world where they are a commodity. What aspects of them are valued? What is seen as broken? All good stuff.
