Voice Over, written by Luiso Berdejo and directed by Martin Rosete, is all about an astronaut who’s survival rests in the hands of the narrator’s voice over after he crash lands on a mysterious planet.
It’s certainly an interesting take on the solitary nature of crash landing stories, and I have to say I’m a fan. It takes the typical nature of the “third person” perspective (and the omniscience garnered from it) and uses it to fully interact with the main character rather than just watch over them. Voice Over has been winning a lot of awards lately, and it’s easy to see why.
