The Raid: Redemption had some tough competition, but its choreography was enough to easily overtake the Golden Pterodactyl. With a show of hands, tell me who didn’t consider taking up pencak silat after watching this film? Yeah, that’s what I thought. Dredd might have had Olivia Thirlby and Karl Urban’s chin, The Avengers might have had superheroes and aliens, Skyfall might have had James Bond and martinis Heinekens, and Django Unchained might have had racist slave owners, but The Raid: Redemption had so much more badassness.
