By I’ll be honest, I never watched much Fraggle Rock rock as a kid. Not because I didn’t want to, because I did – I absolutely did – but just because I never really got the chance to. That one Fraggle Rock part before Muppet Treasure Island on VHS though, my brother and I rewound that part a lot. So when we heard that the prospect of a Fraggle Rock movie wasn’t looking too good, I was surprisingly sad, because Fraggle Rock is one of the few 80’s kid’s shows that I actually wish there was more of in my life.
Well, now it’s being reported that the Fraggle Rock movie may still happen! With the band Scissor Sisters! Wait, what? Uh, yep, apparently the restart of the movie’s pre-production includes having its musical numbers written by Jake Shears and Babydaddy of Disco-glam band Scissor Sisters. Huh. Well, even if the musical choice is unorthodox, lets hope that this means that a real Fraggle Rock movie is on the way!
