Studio Ghibli’s films are so damn pretty, I don’t even need to understand what anyone is saying. That’s why this Japanese trailer for their latest film, When Marnie Was There, is perfect for me. In much better quality than the teaser, we see two friends talking about things and doing things (I’m sorry, I really have no idea what’s going on but one of them is a ghost).
Although I’m not an anime man, I love stories about ghost girls and their lonely friends. Wow, that came out way creeper then I intended. Can we just pretend I didn’t say it? What do you mean I typed it out already? What do you mean I posted this? What do you mean you’re reading this? When Marnie Was There is already released in Japan with no domestic release in sight yet.
