Time to go on another exciting ride with Angelina Jolie as Maleficent and this time things are seriously heating up. The full trailer finally made its debut this morning and it looks amazing. Aurora is finally getting her happily ever after when Prince Phillip proposes. Maleficent, who as we know from the last film was essentially screwed over by Aurora’s dad, detests love and does not approve. Aurora and Maleficent’s relationship it seems this time around will really be put to the test leading to an all-out war. Enter Phillip’s mom, who clearly detests Maleficent from the start, and you got yourself a really dramatic fight between two strong female characters who both want what’s “best” for Aurora.
The last teaser didn’t really hint at much but this one basically gives away the whole film. I love the twist at the end where we get a very brief glimpse of more of Maleficent’s kind. Just what are we getting ourselves into? I can’t wait to go on this wild ride again and hopefully it does just as well as the first film.
