Was the red band trailer for A Million Ways to Die in the West just too much for you? Then you’re probably not going to want to see the movie because it’s Seth McFarlane and that’s what he’s all about, but if you’re still interested for some reason you can check out the new green band trailer above. It’s got about half the jokes and none of the curse words.
The benefit of a trailer not entirely made up of R-rated jokes is that the plot comes through a bit better. There’s a few new things here that better explain that Charlize Theron is going to teach McFarlane how to shoot things good. It’s also a little weird that everyone talks like they’re from modern day, but they’re not in it. Black guy booty jokes? I’m not so sure those were made back then. Clearly historical accuracy is not a goal.
