By Harvey Weinstein does not like the NRA, and, in my opinion, that’s absolutely fine. Maybe you’re pro-NRA and that’s fine too, but according to Weinstein he’s going to be making a movie with Meryl Streep and it is going to destroy the NRA.
Speaking to Howard Stern Weinstein said, “I shouldn’t say this, but I’ll tell it to you, Howard. I’m going to make a movie with Meryl Streep, and we’re going to take this head-on. And they’re going to wish they weren’t alive after I’m done with them.”
The movie will not be a documentary and Weinstein likened it to Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. I seriously doubt that it will actually have the effect that Weinstein imagines, but with Streep and lots of money behind it it’s hard to imagine whatever the film is not having some impact.
