Heathcliff, otherwise known as the “street tough” version of that lasagna eating Garfield, is the next property ripped from our collective childhoods and will be paraded around as a live action/CG hybrid thing. Wait a minute…that’s just like Garfield (Heathcliff just can’t win can he?).
Guess who’s bringing this masterpiece? Waterman Entertainment. Sound familiar? They’re the same ones who pimped out Alvin and the Chipmunks, Stuart Little, Casper, and are currently attempting Mr. Ed and Brave Little Toaster movies. Basically everything you might have seen as a kid. Expect everything to be up for grabs at this point.
