Normally we here at Flixist like to keep away from spoiling things like a post-credits scene (and not the one you have to Shazam for some reason), but this is such a bizarre situation, it should be okay to move forward. In order to direct The Amazing Spider-Man 2 while he was still under contract at Fox (they wanted him to direct a second feature now that 500 Days of Summer was a success), Marc Webb had to agree to freely advertise Fox’s upcoming film, X-Men: Days of Future Past.
The films have nothing to do with each other, this clip doesn’t tie into Spider-Man or anything like that (which is why we’re revealing it here), and it most likely confused a good amount of movie folk. Sometimes big movie companies can work together, I guess.
Oh and if you’ve seen The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and would like to say something about it, write something here!
