The Awesome Mix from Guardians of the Galaxy was a nice in-story mix-tape that was loaded with good songs and emotional impact. Suicide Squad tried to copy the Awesome Mix formula with mixed results. Truly, Red Bone’s “Come and Get Your Love” > whatever song they played when Harley Quinn took a swan dive into that vat of toxic pudding.
The new Guardians of the Galaxy movie comes out May 4th, and we finally have a full songlist for Awesome Mix Vol. 2. The soundtrack officially comes out April 21st…. why, that’s Friday!
