In the past we only had one picture to tide us over on Horrible Bosses, the upcoming comedy with Jason Bateman and two other characters that undeservedly don’t get the side character spotlight much in their career. What’s more intriguing is that Kevin Spacey, Colin Farrell, and Jennifer Aniston have been cast as the malevolent bosses. That’s certainly not a threesome I ever imagined would happen, though I wouldn’t put it past Colin’s imagination. Along with three new pictures comes a plot synopsis:
For Nick (Jason Bateman), Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) and Dale (Charlie Day), the only thing that would make the daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust. Quitting is not an option, so, with the benefit of a few-too-many drinks and some dubious advice from a hustling ex-con (Jamie Foxx), the three friends devise a convoluted and seemingly foolproof plan to rid themselves of their respective employers…permanently. There’s only one problem: even the best laid plans are only as foolproof as the brains behind them.
Don’t let that coy description fool you: they plan to murder their three bosses. And it also stars Julie Bowen (Modern Family, Weeds), Jamie Foxx (cast as Motherf*cking Jones?!), and Isaiah Mustafa (that Old Spice commercial guy)! Any plot that revolves around being “foolproof” and stars the entertainingly obtuse character from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is something I look forward to. Until then, I need to go back and finally watch Going the Distance to see how well Jason Sudeikis and Charlie Day mesh together. Check out the new pictures below and expect the first trailer for Horrible Bosses to pop up on Flixist in the next few weeks.
