By Joel Kinnaman. Gary Oldman. Samuel L. Jackson. And now, Hugh Laurie. That’s right, Dr. House himself is in talks to play the evil-jerkface CEO of OmniCorp (I really hope that’s just a typo) in Jose Padilha’s upcoming remake of Robocop.
Personally, I love the casting of Luarie, but I don’t see him as the Old Man. If he were playing the Bob Morton or Dick Jones character from part one, that I could get behind. Or maybe even taking over for Clarence Boddicker. Oh who am I kidding, the only person who should ever be allowed to play Clarence is Kurtwood Smith.
The wait until next August is going to be a long one. 422 days, to be exact.
