All of the new seasons of Netflix’s Marvel shows have just crept up on me from out of nowhere. I had no idea Luke Cage (Season Two) even aired and now we’re already talking about Iron Fist (Season Two) and how it has improved on the first season. Does Marvel have wizards producing all of its shows and films to get so many out in a year? That crazy production schedule hasn’t let up and now we’ll be seeing Daredevil (Season Three) this year. October 19, 2018, to be precise.
Netflix revealed the announcement with a teaser trailer that tells us to, “Let the devil out.” I’m wondering if that is a sly shoutout to the recent Venom trailer. While I might be down on Marvel’s recent crop of Netflix shows, I can’t say I’m not intrigued by Daredevil’s upcoming season. Being based on one of the best comic book storylines and featuring the return of Vincent D’Onofrio, this has a lot of potential.
