By You might wonder to yourself about the upcoming Nicolas Cage trip, Color Out of Space, what exactly does a color out of space look like anyway? If this poster is any indication, it looks a lot like a lightning bolt struck a lava lamp which then tore open the fabric of space-time itself. That’s probably not too far off.
The poster is a delight with the cast’s faces peeled to shock or dismay but Cage looking oddly into it. I also love his name imposed over the face of someone clearly in the throws of a painful death. Perfect. It’s illustrated with a melty quality and also features an alpaca. Does this teach us anything about the movie? Not really.
Except maybe that I want to snort this movie. Yes. I definitely now know that I want to snort this movie.
Color Out of Space is directed by Richard Stanley and will trip balls in the bathroom of a theater near you on January 24, 2020.
