By For some reason I am stupidly excited for Independence Day: Resurgence. Maybe it’s just some wanton nostalgia, but I just feel like it’s going to be good despite the fact that it’s a remake to a decades old film and these things rarely work out.
We’ve been reporting on the beginning of the hype train and it appears that our old friend Jeff Goldblum is delivering the next bit: a teaser. He joined Facebook and Instagram specifically to drop IDR (remember dem hashtags) bombs, which he has now done.
What does it show us? Nothing, but it does play on that aforementioned nostalgia. Considering the still filming this thing it will be a long while before we see anything concrete, but not too long as we’ll all be celebrating next year’s Independence Day with the film. The other image is of him near a jet with equally sexy man Liam Hemsworth behind him.
