By After the tease was released for Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four reboot there really was only one thing left for us to wonder about: how The Thing was going to look. Wonder no more. Empire has released the first look at Jamie Bell’s thing, which ditches the make-up chair for motion captures and does the character a world of good.
He actually looks rocky, and less rubbery. While Michael Chiklis’ look was possibly more faithful to the original comic book, this one actually looks like a man made out of rocks. I’m still on the fence about loving this film, but having Trank directing and a good looking Thing definitely help.
Also released were two more still images of stuff you’re not nearly as interested in as The Thing.
