I may have previously ranted a little about the existence of El Camino, the official epilogue film to AMC’s hit series Breaking Bad, but this latest trailer does at least look good. Netflix has given us our first proper look at the returning Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) and it seems time has not been kind to him. After the hell he went through during the series’ run, it seems a few loose ends need tying up for the perpetually unlucky slacker.
While not revealing any real details, we get a clear picture of Jesse on the hunt for someone. I guess Walter didn’t kill every single Neo-Nazi at the end of the series, so Jesse is likely hunting down the stragglers. That’s compelling enough, I suppose, and will probably result in the character dying like everyone else. It seems even ambiguously good endings can’t always last.
