By Well color me pink, folks haven’t forgotten about the drive-in movie theatre! In an interesting turn of events, Disney is now seeing a decently little box office increase for its surprisingly decent John Carter, thanks to drive-in pairings with The Avengers. Funny how this all works out, huh?
See, most drive-ins pair movies together as an incentive for bringing the whole family to a show. Two movies, one ticket. But don’t expect two new releases. Usually, it’ll be one new release followed by an older show that’s on its way out. In this case, John Carter. So families, take your kids to the drive-in. Heck, I bet most parents haven’t been to a drive-in ever. So make an evening of it, and go check out the magic of the drive-in.
